If forbidden items are found in your checked-in luggage, they will be removed. At Helsinki Airport, you can pick up confiscated items from the storage service, located close to the airport. Confiscated items will be held in the storage service for couple of weeks. If the items are not picked up during the storage period, they will be recycled, donated to charity or disposed of.
